The coffin compartment is designed with a ceremonial vehicle in mind, featuring high-quality materials and finishes such as stainless steel trims, artificial leather and stitched cushion panels that provide a restrained and dignified appearance. By narrowing the wheel arches, a wide floor surface is created, allowing two coffins to be transported with dignity. Options such as fan panels in the side walls, a starlight headliner and indirect ambient lighting can be added to enhance the atmosphere when desired. Colours, finishing materials and other details are fully tailored to the wishes of your organisation.
Optimised use of space
By making optimal use of the available space within the base vehicle, generous storage solutions can be integrated throughout the interior. Depending on the selected wheelbase, a double partition wall can be installed, creating a remarkably spacious storage area in which larger items such as a coffin cooler can be given a fixed position. As an option, a large apothecary-style pull-out cabinet can be integrated, which can be extended to either side for direct access to frequently used items. Beneath the floor, spacious compartments or drawers provide additional capacity. At the rear, a deep drawer is combined with a separate compartment for a room screen or similar equipment. All provisions are custom-built according to your wishes and equipment, ensuring optimal use of the available space and creating a well-organised mobile workspace in daily practice.

Floor systems for different working methods
The floor construction can be fully aligned with your working method and the funeral culture in which the vehicle is deployed. For flat coffin bases, the coffin floor is fitted with coffin rollers and glide strips to facilitate positioning. For coffins with feet or consoles, a guided support system is available to support ergonomic loading and unloading.
The floor can be executed as a fixed floor, or as a manually or fully electrically extendable system with an extension range of 70 centimetres, optionally extending up to 140 centimetres. During extension, the integrated underrun protection automatically lowers into position. As a Huiskamp-specific option, the rear opening can be widened by applying extended sills. This creates additional space during loading and unloading and makes it possible to position two larger coffins simultaneously, a functionality that is virtually unique within this segment. These floor systems offer additional comfort during loading and unloading, particularly during ceremonial use or when working independently. Both extendable variants are available as a single unit or as a split configuration, depending on your preference and working method.
